The images on this page were all taken in Northeast and Eastern Tasmania using my little weather resistant Olympus mu 800.

Schouten Island is part of the Freycinet National Park on the east coast of Tasmania. The sandstone patterns are similar to the better known Painted Cliffs on Maria Island. Schouten Island is a compact snapshot of the east coast in terms of scenery and camping.

The orchid and Xanthorrhoea photos were taken at Mt Cameron, near Gladstone in the northeast. The forest (granulated) snail was photographed on the Blue Tier.
