The Launceston Photographic Society
The Launceston Photographic Society is a relatively small club, but its members are always keen to welcome anyone interested in our hobby. Our youngest member is just 13 and our oldest, well perhaps we'd best not say, but there are a wide range of ages and levels of ability. The one thing they all have in common is a love of photography and a desire to take better pictures. In spite of its small size the Society does possess some outstanding photographers who have enjoyed success in national and international exhibitions. In the Austrian Super Circuit, the world's largest photographic exhibition, attracting over 40,000 entries, the Society has won gold medals for the best club entry in 2004, 2005 and 2006. The Society is also a member of the Tasmanian Photographic Federation. |
