Francesco Marena


Photography has been my hobby for over 50 years.

After years of experimenting with all types of darkroom techniques, I moved to digital when I realized how much more control I could gain on my final results with the use of photoshop.

I have owned several film and digital cameras in the past and now I am using a Nikon D300 for most of my work. My favourite subjects are landscape and people caught in their own surroundings.

I find it interesting and challenging to experiment with new programs and techniques and trying to keep up with the fast changing digital world.

Photo Club membership and its activities have always been instrumental in achieving that goal.
